i have the 36 led kit. i created my own list of colors to get full spectrum. i since moved to larger tank and need to add-on. havent decided what to do there yet.....
there is nothing wrong with their kits. since a couple years ago they were a love hate place, where some ppl hated them for the fact they only had bridgelux led but many ppl never had problems (including me). now they have all sorts of options including cree. i would get a dimmable kit to acclimate your corals and tank. also figure out a good color spectrum instead of just white and blue. Ray (aquastyle) is very good about emails and correspondence so dont be afraid to email him as well. What size tank is this for? |

20 led would be the minimum imo. id go at least 24-36 led. i did the full controller kit. custom light selection. not just white and blue. i love it, my corals seem to as well.
there is another thread about chinese light fixtures that seems to be getting great reviews from several brands that are pre-assembled fixtures. take a look at that too. |
