Quarantine Tank Size
It's petco dollar sale days, time for me to finally grab a quarantine tank. I know everyone suggests a 10 gallon, is there any benefit to moving up to a 20 or should I just buy the 10 and call it good?

if you can fit a larger thank, then it's not a bad idea.
a lot of it also depends on what you're planning on Qting. if you have a huge DT and plan on needing to QT show size tangs and angels, then obviously you need an accordingly sized QT. however for most people 10 - 20 gallons is a reasonable size for most normal fish. i personally like the 20 long. it's not super huge, cheap to buy, and gives a decent amount of swimming length, combined with a relatively shallow depth, that makes it easy to move things around on the bottom. general rule of thumb for QT: as large as you can fit/afford.
