Should I rip this out?

I have a sponge or cabbage type plant growing next to my green zoas.
I is now kind of overtaking the zoa colony.

The zoas are still small so I am not sure if they will be able to move if needed.
Should I let this sponge continue to grow large or remove it from the tank?
Also is someone is able to identify this sponge cabbage it would be great.

Thanks,
Ryan

is it yellowish/somewhat see through? i had an algae in one of my previous tanks that looks like that but was yellow. it grew extremely fast. if i were you id take that out and save the zoas unless you really like it which i would then cut a part of it off and move it somewhere else while killing the part overtaking your zoas.

my 2c
