I did the swap. The RW controller made the WP pump alot harder or maybe the wp40 is just way stronger than the rw15 do to flow pattern. but to answer your question they are interchangable.

Current Tank Info: 3 shallow rimless tanks. 2 full of sps and 1 with zoas/palys.
