jebao rw users, please chime in

would 1 rw-15 be sufficient for a 90 gallon tank or would i need a rw-20?

I think the better question would be, 2 rw8s or 1 rw15? I would do the 2 rw8s, allows for more random flow. 15s and 20s are BIG and take up real estate.

I have 2 RW8s in my six-foot 125 gallon and they are turned down I would not go bigger.

ok, throw the rw-20 out the window.

if i can get away with 1 rw-15 over 2 rw8s, i'll get the rw-15. for whatever reason, i think 2 powerheads in the 90 gallon would be an eyesore and take away from everything inside the tank

Fish,
I am having the same trouble deciding between 1 RW-15, or 2 RW-8's. I have a 6ft 125.

My thought process is that I can get two RW-8's for ~ $200.

OR

1 RW-15 for ~$90

I also have a closed loop running through an Oceans Motions 4way, as well as two other powerheads so I will probably ditch the two power head when the Jebao(s) arrive.

What do you think would be best?

I ran 2 rw 8 in my 90 went to 2 rw 15 instead prefer the rw 15 the 8 is just a liitle too small esp if running sps. The 8 is fine for lps and softies

I have two wp 25's and one rw-15 in my 120. I would get two rw-8's that will be plenty for your tank. RW-15's are considerably larger than the rw-8's so keep that in mind. IMO hiding two rw-8's will be easier than hiding one rw-15 its huge.

Good info here...was thinking two RW15's for my 150 (60") tank for the spread due to the larger power head.

Am I off target with this idea or should I be rolling with RW-8's?

I have 2 RW-8s in my 90 Cube. I had to turn them down at min. Someone in my house turned them high once and the sand was pushed (I have the bigger 3.5mm grain). They are powerful. I cannot even use the wave function as it makes a lot noise when the water is pushed to the overflow

I have an RW 8 in a 100 gallon (48x24x20). It is more than sufficient. You can always add a 2nd unit if needed.

I have 2 rw 15 in my 75 gallon on the lowest setting and it's just right.

Every two weeks or so I give them else mode, which is random power 30 thru 100 percent and it stirs everything up real nice.

I have a 58 (36 x 18 x 19). I'm looking at going with 2 RW-8s. Too much? Should I go with 2 RW-4s instead?

Tank is mostly softy and lps.

I have a pair of rw8's in my 60 cube, doesnt seem like too much flow at all at 100% IMO. Im planning to add a couple more pumps behing the rockwork as well. Either rw 4's or tunze 6025/6015.

Actually, I have 2 RW4s in my 40B and wish I would have gotten RW8s. My rockwork really breaks up the flow.

I have them supplemented with a MaxiJet 1200 and things are okay at best.
