Need help - Metal Halide light bulb question
Dumb question, but I am going a bit nuts and need some assistance…
I bought a “new to me” setup that included a 24” Current-USA light combo fixture with MH and 4 T5 bulbs;, the seller included new T5 bulbs but not the MH. I want to replace the MH bulb but cannot determine the size (wattage). I have been all over the light fixture itself, the ballast and the old bulb and cannot find any indication of the bulb size anywhere. Is there some rule of thumb for determining the wattage of a metal halide bulb? For reference, the bulb is double ended. Thanks in advance |

Being that the fixture is only 24" long, my guess would be a 150 watt bulb.

Probably is 150 watt but you could take the bulb to a light store, unlikely your LFS still carries MH bulbs but it's possible.
