Flame Angel in QT not eating as much

Like the title says, my Flame Angel seems to be eating a lot less the past few days. I'll give as much info as I can, and hopefully you guys can give me an idea on how to proceed.

I got three fish from LA three weeks ago. Each fish is in their own QT. I have the Flame in one, a Coral Beauty in another, and a Majestic Angel in the third tank. About two days after I got them they all started eating. Since then they have been all eating very well. I have been feeding New Life Spectrum Thera A pellets twice a day. Every other day, sometimes every third day, I do about a 30% water change. The water is matched in temp and SG. On the days I don't do a water change I add PRIME. All my water parameters check out ok.

The Majestic and Beauty are both still eating great. However, about three days ago my Flame stopped eating as much. He'll eat one, maybe two pellets, but that's it. He seems interested in it, but then doesn't eat it. He MIGHT eat some of the pellets he originally ignored after I leave, but I haven't witnessed it. He doesn't seem stressed, and I don't visually see anything wrong with him.

So, do you think he's just being stubborn, or do you think he might have an internal problem?

Thanks for the help!

Have you tried any different food besides the pellets maybe give some frozen mysis a try. They also love nori as well.

Yeah, I was thinking about trying that. I was hoping to use only the pellets to keep the qt as clean as possible, but that won't matter if he starves to death.

Any update on the flame. He looks as healthy as can be in the pic.

I was just thinking I needed to write an update. He still isn't eating as much as he did before, but he seems to be eating a bit more. Maybe he's constipated!

Other than that he still acts like a healthy fish. Hopefully his apatite comes back to 100% soon.

Thanks for asking! Yeah, all three of the angels are doing well, and are getting along just fine. The Flame Angel likes to let the Coral Beauty know who's boss, but most of the time they're all pretty happy.

He still doesn't eat a ton, but he eats enough.
