What a stupid way to loose a fish!!
Today I lost a nice and cute Talbot Damsel in my QT. I have a hob filter and I was too lazy to put the protective end pipe with grill on the end of the intake
The protective piece was literally on top of my screen cover for the QT. I want to cry. At Least the tiny miny yellow goby I have in there didn't find its way too. |

Sorry for your loss, chalk it up as a lesson learned and never forget it going forward. It stinks when you know you're the reason one of your pets dies. You'd be amazed at how many folks dont care and make the same mistakes over and over.....

I've learned a couple of "stupid" lessons like that myself. I lost a 6 line wrasse once, could not find it for the life of me. Out in the flowerbed one day where I had siphoned the water change water and there was the wrasse!
