So i ordered one of these lights to check it out as it's considerably cheaper then buildmyled and looked pretty similar. It arrived yesterday after some shipping mess ups on their end, ie. forgetting to ship.

While the amount of light from this thing is nice for they money it suffers from extreme disco ball effect on the red and green LEDS so much so the tank looks like a Christmas tree. Any suggestions on possibly lessening the effect? Would taking the lens off the red and green lights help?

Seriously the amount of red and green light in the tank now is horrid in spots. I also don't care for the fact they put the red leds on the same channel as the blue. If i could even tone down just the red/green leds it would look better.
