Chemipure, purigen, seagel???

What is the difference chemipure elite, chemipure blue, purigen, and seagel?

I am currently running and have been running chemipure elite and purigen and recently introduced pura filter pads.

I have just battled hair algae and I am currently winning. I did a hydrogen peroxide dip on everything and ran 2 phosguard bags, water change, pura filter pad, and a 4 day light out cycle. There is currently no visible hair algae but I want to stay ahead of the game and remove the phosphates and nitrates. As well as skimming as usual.

I was also wondering if I can run all 4 of the mentioned medias at once or would it not do justice doing so?

Chemi pure elite is like carbon and gfo together it removes impurity's and phosphate.

Chemi pur blue functions just like carbon but has resins that are in DI fitlers.

Seagel is carbon with a phosphate remover.

purigen is just like carbon.

Running all these things at once isn't going to hurt your tank but it seems like an awful waste of money. Given the cost of these things you could get bulk activated carbon and GFO from BRS for cheaper and it will last you much longer.

If I were to use one of the seachem products it would be Seagel.
