Comming Back! 60 Gal Cube
I think its time. About 4 years ago, between raising a baby boy, battling a terrible algae outbreak that I couldn't get under control and a fussy HOB overflow, we took down our 110 gallon tank. Now that the family is growing and I have more time the bug has hit me to start up a new tank. My four year old is helping with the bug as he is in love with clown fish and an anemone, weird hu.
I'm about 4 weeks from finishing our basement remodel and then comes the tank. As of right now it will be a 60 gallon cube. I've been torn between the 60 and 93 but right now I think the 60 will mesh better in the room and be a little cheaper, we will see. I'm probably going to be building the stand so I can get a little more room under for a sump. Haven't bought a the tank just yet been shopping around a little but right now leaning towards a Marineland with corner overflow. Any opinions on that or others? I guess that's it for now, my old system wasn't really up to date with technology and it seems things have changed since then even so I have lots of questions. For now what brand of tank would you pick? |
