Question. No flow to coral

How Long can I keep these in there? I have a frogspawn and small coral in a breeder bucket because I have small starfish eating corals in my tank. I put them in the bucket so they won't get eaten is that ok?

The corals will be OK for a few days, but what boogieman suggested is probably a better idea. Keep in mind that if you're battling asterina sp. starfish, they can probably get into the breeder trap you've pictured.

I'd trust it for about 48 hours at room temperature. Stagnant water will sour. The asterina may irritate the corals and some species of asterina may damage some corals particularly leathers and zoanthids; never saw them harm a euphylllia but I suppose it's possible. They are not obligate coral feeders and won't die off with the coral removed;they can be siphoned out off the glass at night and will diminish in numbers in lower nutrient environments.

As long as your willing to do a little work, you could keep those corals in that container for quite awhile IMO. Being that your around the tank on a regular basis, just get yourself a small cup and pour in a little water in every now & then. Keep it fresh so to say. GL.

As long as your changing out the water euphyllia like very little flow they seem to do the best with a little current swaying them around. Look how big it is in the container looks happy
