Plumbing question and compression fittings

I want to use a stub 1" PVC coming out of my bulkhead and then connect it to the rest of my plumbing with a PVC compression fitting like the one below. Has anyone ever used on and can say if they don't leak?

They don't leak. I've used some for years on return lines with 13 psi. They give you some wiggle room on pipe length cuts and a fast connection

I've used them on my irrigation system with 80psi with no problems.
