Stocking question
Hi All-
New to the forum here and have a stocking question. Tank is 29 gal. With 22lbs+/- of live rock. Running the cf4000 canister filter along with a psk75h skimmer. Tank is 18 months old and currently have a Midas Blenny, Maroon Clown, Yellow Coris Wrasse, Firefish, Diamondback Goby and a Scarlet Shrimp. Have 20+ corals too. All levels are testing good and all fish are happy and getting along well together. The blenny was the last one added and that was a few weeks ago. Ok now to my question: thoughts on adding a Springeri Dottyback to the mix re: compatibility, overstocking etc. thanks and look forward to your feedback! |

You are already overstocked. I would not add any more fish to that setup.

Thanks and agree...dang it. Girlfriend couldn't figure out why I jumped into a reef tank after not having one since being a kid. I told her to sit at wait and you will see why. Now she loves it. I was asking because she fell in love with the dottyback. I told her we are at the max now. One nice thing is my fish are beautifully colored and healthy but not getting to big. That's why I was asking!

Dottybacks are also a rather aggressive group of fish. They really need some space to not pester everything else in there.
