What are these crawling around my tank?
I have these weird slug looking creatures crawling around my live rock only at night when the lights are off. does anybody know what they are and also should I remove them?

That's exactly what they are! Unfortunately I removed it because of what my LFS has told me that day which was to "remove it immeadiately." Someone just shared this link with me on another one of my posts, which is an amazing link to identify things in your tank!

yup...they are awesome... Wait for them to start spawning then it really gets cool... My tank started with 2 of them now i have a bunch of little ones.
You'll see them puffing a cloudy spray into the water...in a couple of weeks there will be new ones... They are awesome. Try to keep them out of your return chamber the pump will make quick work of them.

stamella snails are awesome! I wish I had more in my tank though. I have only seen one occasionally, but it's big.
