Can anyone tell me what this white root-like growth is?
Can anyone tell me what this white root-like growth is? It is growing in my filter sponges and walls of refugium...

Not positive as I can't gauge the size nor do I know whether the area was exposed to any light or not (even weak), but it looks like it might be a caulerpa rhizoid.

Thank you for checking my thread. It does get some indirect light that was about the size of a quarter but they have gotten larger in my filter sponges
