New to forum...help to id..

Hi everyone, am new to the forum and just wanted to see if anyone could help me identify the creature below.

I can only describe it as a smooth black and white striped tenticle, that is always creeping out after lights out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a harmless peanut worm. It'll scavenge leftover food.
