Apex and ATi
Ok I in the planning stages of setting up a Marineland 93 gal cube and I want to run the ATI 8 bulb 24 inch light and was wondering if the Apex is capable of dimming them?

I don't think it can, don't quote me but the apex has VDM module for Apex ready LED units and the AWM for Aqua Illuminations lighting. A breakout box would switch the lights but not provide any dimming capability. As far as I know there isn't a module for adjusting voltage to dim lights in that way.

No. If you need/want dimming then you will need to get the dimmable version of the ATI. It comes equipped with its own built in controller and is not able to interface with an Apex.

I have a dimmable 8 bulb ATI. 2 bulbs programmed to ramp up and down for the light cycle. the other 6 are on for about 6 hours.
I also use my APEX to control 2 Kessils to give the tank some shimmer effects
