Talking making a return.

Hi all.....I'm Dray.

I'm just about to start my quest for reef keeping for the second (actually 4th) time after not having a tank for a few years.
i say 4th coz this will be my 4th tank, the first three were in succession of each other a few years back.....the usual story of starting small and upgrading in steps to bigger better systems.

My new tank however is going to be a different story....i have the space...the funds, and most importantly.....i have permission (those of you who know.....know )
so I'm going all in on this one.

the only thing that i am acutely aware of is that my knowledge base has somewhat deminished over the years and I'm gonna need to start scrubbing up on my basics before the new setup arrives.

my new setup is as follows...

Red sea reefer 350 (if it ever arrives, over a month to wait)
built in sump system, auto top up etc.
bubble magus skimmer.
gyre maxspect power head
Maxspect razor r420r LED lighting
return pump from sump

and for now thats it.

but i do have some questions on the smaller items needed.

digital thermometer, heater (if needed) glass cleaner/scraper, gravel cleaner also carbon filter/reactor ....that sort of thing.
i don't want to fork out for a control system just yet, so I'm just looking to get some semi decent kit that will do the job for now (talking about the thermo an heater really)

I've been reading up on cycling and parameters and the stages of tank setup so I'm slowly getting the knowledge back, but I'm sure i will have some questions for you guys along the way.

Dray.
