just do one after the other , I do the first pic, hit the enter key to put a small space between pics then just add the second , third , and so on .
Your sump looks great , the water level looks high , its above the baffles at the return side . Do the socks float out of the holes at all ?

Suggestion - remove the hard 90 deg elbow in one of the returns. Instead, pipe the silicone tube straight into the piping. The soft curve you'll get with the silicone will have much less head loss than the 90 PVC elbow.

Love the Sock Holder. Super easy to change.
Word of advice for the Sock Holder. It has to be two layers or the water will just go UNDER the sock. Bottom Layer or "Shelf" fits the sock (Under the plastic Ring) Second layer is a tight fit AROUND the ring. this way the 2nd rim holds the sock firmly in place, and water cannot go under the sock. Like this: Both Layers: Bottom Layer: Top Layer: |

Nice build. Would it be possible to post a schematic of your plumbing layout?

My water is above the baffle in my return section. About an inch or so. I did this because the water falling over the baffle caused bubbles in the return section that the pump would send to display and refugium. The filter sock holder is a cuting board for your kitchen that i cut down and drilled with a hole saw to the size i needed for the filter socks. I wanted something that would be easy for changing the socks out. I believe the hole saw was 3 3/4" and it provides a snug fit so the sock does not come loose without you wanting it to.

I did build a bubble trap. I just found when I started to run the sump that if the water going over the last baffle had to fall into the return section it caused bubbles to be pushed down toward the return pump. Then the return pump would send the bubbles to my refugium and display. So I raised my ATO so the water would sit about an inch higher than the baffle. Problem solved.
