The one time I do a massive coral "harvest" is local frag swaps. try to find some local aquarium club and find out nearby frag swap events.

You are welcome! Excellent idea. This is an amazing place with some of the best reefers in the world visiting these forums. I learn something every day and am glad to always be the student.

There are also many online vendors that offer great corals, i have a couple favorites, and are a good deal if you are planning on a larger purchase. If i'm only looking for a coral or two, i'll either go on the local reef forums at the bottom of the main forums page and put up a post in there, i found a local dealer that way who always has a good selection at good prices, and sometimes you can find some on craigslist.
