Finger leather bleached and shrunk

I posted a few weeks ago about my finger leather being bleached but the polyps were still extending and other than color, it looked fantastic. I moved it down a few inches and waited to see if that would help any. It now has shrunk and one stalk is drooping a lot, like it is slowly melting. The other stalk is just smaller but its polyps still extend. The coral is still all white.

Should I move it down further or try moving it up for more light? My Devil's hand looks fantastic and I have a newer small rock of mushrooms that have almost doubled in size after 2-3 weeks.

Sometimes mine shrink up and shed, they they're back to normal again. Does yours look like it may be shedding?
