Best Actinic LED strip for supplement.

I'm looking to add an LED strip to give some actinic supplement to my 250w 20k Radium MH.

The fixture that I have is 20x20 and my tank is almost the same dimensions and when I try to add 2 t5 , the t5 bulbs stick out of the dimension of the tank. Therefore I'm looking for something slimmer to add actinic to my MH.

Another idea I had and I wasn't sure it was safe, was to build a square frame that measures the same as the MH fixture where I would attach the T5. The thing would be that the fixture would be sitting directly on the frame and I'm worried the heat from the light would maybe burn the wooden frame.

Am I right on this? If so, I'll toss the idea of t5 and what LED strip is recommended?

Look no further than the ReefBrite XHO LED strip. Avail in 15" model. I run them as supplement on both of my radium running tanks.

Buildmyled strips. 12" or 18" strip. custom spectrum available if the stock configurations aren't what you're after. For example using a lot more 420nm violets to supplement the radium and get a spectrum closer to VHO actinic.

Buildmyled. With reefbrites you only get royal blue and no apex control. Buildmyled gives you the option of 405 nm deep violet, 420 nm violet, 450 royal blue, and 470 blue, use high end Philips Luxeon diodes (a step up from the Cree royal Blues in reefbrites), offer customization, and apex control. No brainer
