Powerhead for a 120g
Hi All,
I'm new to the hobby and just picked up a 120g tank and I'm looking to get some powerheads next. Why type/quantity do you recommend? Thanks for the help and happy reefing! |

depends a little on your dimensions, but I just set up a 5' long 110g a few months ago and am using 2x Jebao WP-40's and really like the flow, one is on right side steady stream and one is on back wall left side angle toward the front center on wavemaker mode.

I had the two WP40s on my 120 and was very happy. Then I got an RW 8, and am now even happier. I run the RW8 with one of the WP 40s that is on for 4 hours twice a day. It's a great combo for my footprint of 4x2.

Pledo - why do you like the RW8 even more?
