I learned this in college too... not in a class though. Not for any real reason other than to take a shot of strong whiskey But you're right, I've heard this too. I once ingested some questionable left overs, drank some 100 proof whiskey and never thought about it again.

Ever swim in the ocean and drink a mouthful of sea water? Didn't kill you or make you sick, did it? Just tastes bad.

I figured a mouthfull of tank water once in a while is a right of passage in this hobby?

I have this problem whenever I dose vodka. I ALWAYS get some in my mouth!

I tequila dose myself. The tank gets the vodka.
