Lighting suggestions
Hello,
I have a 10 gallon aquarium which I am using to stock some soft corals, pulsing Xenia and orange and green mushrooms along with a couple of clown fish. I am looking for an inexpensive light for this tank as I am using a power compact and the bulb needs to be replaced which I am figuring is causing my coral not to flourish at this time. I have seen this Par 38 bulb and was just wondering if I could use this on this tank and if so which one would I need and what else would I need since I have no information on this bulb at this time. If not, if you could suggest a different light I would appreciate it. This is only a "storage" tank until I can get my 90 gallon up and running. Thanks

a par 38 bulb or two would be sufficient temporarily. Just make sure it has the correct spectrum. Mixture of white with blue and royal blue would be fine.
Once the 90 is up on the other hand...not really any way to get good light and not at least pay a few hundred at the absolute bare minimum |
