Doubt it.

In the future use 3m (or scotch) super 33+ electrical tape. It won't come off. You can get it at Walgreens or any hardware store.

That cheap stuff sucks and needs to be avoided.

Yea+1. I have used electrical tape on several things in my reef over the years without issue

Never used 33 but, working as a lineman, cheap stuff is CHEAP. We only use 3m super 88. At one point in time we had ordered Plymouth 85, it was terrible.

The super 88 is 33 but thicker. It is often used in aircraft or motor harnesses. 33 wraps a little easier for everyday applications

We were at the 3m tech center and they gave us an amazing demo on their adhesives, then when he asked if anyone had questions or what they thought I said "I'm disappointed" everyone looks at me half amazed and half disgusted. I said "There was no representation of super 33+" and the guy says "oh but there is" reaches up and there it was a strand stretched between two poles. He grabs it, pushes it back stretching it beyond use, and then it just shrunk back up like nothing ever happened. Everybody claps

I've lost boost couplings and fixed them by weaving 33+ around the pipe. Lasted months holding back 14psi.
