Loc-line

Hey guys, I am finishing up my 60g cube and need to put my return in. The bulkhead for the return in 1" and the drain is 1.5". What size lox-line should I use 1/2 or 3/4? I'm leaning towards the 3/4 just so that the size of the line doesn't decrease that much. My pump is going to be a mag 7 or similar size of pump. I called up two trusted online stores and got different answers from both.

Don't go any smaller than the 3/4. Loc-line restricts the interior size enough already.
