Protein skimmer for 100 gallon reef

Hey guys, currently I have a Bubble Magus Curve 5 on my system with a 75 gallon display/30 gallon sump with about 80 lbs of live rock and 80 lbs of sand. I feel like the BM is just not making the cut. I've also had issues with the pump since it is second hand. So I'm in the market for a new skimmer. Only caveat is, my skimmer compartment is slightly on the small side. Realistically, I have 9"x9.5" to work with five or take a smidge.

The compartment itself is 10x15, but with my heaters and drains in there, it gives me about 9x9.5 to work with.

My tank has about 9 fish in it, 2 medium size, the rest small (anthias, gobies, blennies etc).

I really want to go with the Reef Dynamics INS135 or even the INS100, but I don't think it's gonna fit. The Aquamaxx coneS CO-1 is nice, but has mixed reviews especially on its actual ratings. Open to all opinions

Thanks!

Aquamaxx em 200 would be a good choice. It's oversized also so if you ever choose to upgrade to a 100-150 gallon display you'd be fine depending on the bio load. Sea side aquatics makes the cs1 also that would fit and has a great pump (sicce psk600). Same manufacturer as the bubble magus but it comes with a quality pump.

Hmm I'm liking that Aquamaxx EM200 and I think it will fit. Any rants or raves about it?

From what I hear, everyone that uses the EM200 has nothing but good things to say about it.

This ^^^^^^^ it's a well balanced skimmer that's pretty silent and the sicce shark is a quality pump. Replacement parts are readily available also. It's a skimmer that I've personally used before.

Aquamaxx coneS co-1 has mixed reviews? I have only seen good things written about them. My personal experience has been excellent with it. I would say you could go with the C0-2.

I went from c01 to EM300 on my 120g and the EM300 is pulling out a lot more volume than the C0-1 could, I would say the EM200 would work perfect.

Ah the EM200 seems to be out of stock everywhere with huge lead times and/or discontinued. Any other good options with with similar performance and footprint?

What skimmer did you end up going with? I'm in the market for a new one and searching advice.

I have a co1 and I love it. Price, quality and skimming ability get an A. I would definitely get the co2 since the co1 only has a 5 inch cone. My tank is a 50 gallon breeder fyi.

I went from a curve 5 on my 90g to an Aquamaxx EM200 on a 125g and the EM200 is in a different league than the Curve 5. It is easier to adjust and pulls out a lot more gunk.
