Katfsh's 60 cube build

Well recently my 7 year old started asking for a tank. I have had tanks of and on for 25 years. My last tank was a mixed reef 90g that I took down about 6 years ago. I kept a 30 tall and custom stand and most of the equipment to get it running. Well after pulling it all out of storage and looking the stuff over I decided I needed to upgrade some of the equipment. After it was all said and done all that I kept was the mag 5 as a return pump and it will soon be replaced.

Man a lot of stuff has improved over the last few years. I decided on a 60 cube from marineland. I build a custom stand for it that has a 6 inch ledge on both sides and the front. I did this for two reasons, seems like with past tanks I was always looking for somewhere to set items while messing with the tank, and reason #2 was to give me more room under the tank. I got a trigger systems crystal 18 sump to put in the stand, along with a 16 rv water tank to use as a top off tank. Tunze osmolator for a top off, 2 mp10's a bubble magus nac 3.5 skimmer, and for lights I went with the Hydra 26. Then I went ahead and got the apex gold, along with the ald, wxm, axm modules along with a breakout box and a extra temp probe. well time for some pictures.

Still have a couple wires to tuck away, only plan to have the probe wires exposed. I built some wire troughs into the stand to mount the modules and both power blocks into.
