90 g. Build Thread
All,
I have been a long time member of Reef Central who dropped out of it for about 7 or 8 years. Work pushed me into travelling the world and it is only now that I have returned home have I settled back into things. Boy has technology changed in that time. My tank design is as follows. * 90 Gallon tank with Emerald 39 sump / refugium * 2 Radion 30 Gen3 lights * 1 Vortech Mp40 * EM200 skimmer * Apex Gold control system * DIY autotop off * JBJ 1/4 HP chiller * A cool ultra thin overflow by Synergy Reef * Refrugium Light by Reef Radiance Inside the tank I put: * 2-3 inches of Tropic Eden Reef Flake sand * the "Package" from Richard at Tampa Bay Saltwater And what more could you ask for... So far the tank has been up for a few weeks with very minimal cycle and boy is it beautiful. "the Package" is quite special as I never expected to get so much more than just rock. Richard even pointed out that I got one of the first Xmas Worms that he has seen in a long time. Of course I will take it slow in the coming months. With all this life in the tank, there is no need to rush to put a bunch of fish in there. I'll post some pics soon. -Jeff |

90g with Pics
As promised....here are a few pics....I will post more once I have some time. This is what you get with "the package" from Tampa Bay Saltwater. I have not adding anything else. And even with all this, ammonia spike is not terribly high < 0.6 ppm.
