Neptune said. asked about my adaptor. its 400m. center electrode positive., which is perfectly fine. neptune is max 500mh center electrode positive. I guess I will bite the bullet barring any other piece of equipment is bad. I got a feeling...it may actually be one of the eb8's that cause this. but I dont which one I plugged into first. 60 warranty on base. neptune said. "we'll clean it up for u"....whatever that means..

They clean up any residue left in connectors by exposure to salt water humidity. This is the biggest issue with used apex units.

Ask the seller to meet you half way :-)
Justification: you have a brand new apex base which is worth about $200, with warranty. The seller side, he has to take the hit when the item is DOA regardless of whose fault it is (I know it sucks for him but that is part of the PayPal's agreement)

Probably just spam posting to get post count up without reading the threads, which would explain the suggestion to you to update firmware completely disregarding that the unit is already with Neptune.

Whats going on fella's? got my Base unit back today. brand new guts.

latest firmware installed.

So now what should I do? just play around with the display?

Everything works then what can I say more . You got a deal then. beside rc does not have notification so I have to check for the status...I do that once in a while only
