Question Anyone running 4+ Jebao RWs together?

Hey everyone,

Currently we have 4 WP40s and 2 WP60s in our tank. (470G - 120x29x31")

One of the WP40s went out and I ordered a RW20 as a replacement.

Will probably end up replacing all of our WPs with RW20s.

I see that you can link all of the RWs together, which sounds interesting to me.

Is only running 4+ RWs together and in what modes?

Does running them all in else mode while linked together add any benefit, or is it mainly for wave modes?

I prefer random flow.

Thanks

My RW are linked in else mode. Much better random flow than W modes. Linking them allows you to control the time between high turbulance bursts.

Sorry for all the questions...

How do you link them together and set them up to do all their crazy randomness?

I can take a pic when I get home of my setup (currently down to 3 because I stole one of them for another purpose) but that little button on the right is your toggle button for linking and calling one a master and the others slaves.

Set one of them to master and the others to slave, takes less than 2 seconds to set that up

Then just set the master to else?

Yes the master switches all the pumps to what ever you select, as you are switching modes you will see all the controllers changing modes simultaneously.

Is there a setting past setting the master to else mode that makes all the pumps even more random?

BTW: How do you connect the pumps together? I see they have wireless in their description, but didn't look enough to see if they have wireless adapters actually built in.

In else mode the pumps run in a random program, I haven't found any pattern to how they run, for the pumps themselves, you have the cord going to the pumps, from the pumps the cord goes to each pumps controller then a power cord to the controller, the setup of the wireless part is simple, place whatever controller you want to master which is indicated by pressing the wi-Le button until the master icon lights up (green light) then set the other controllers to slave by pressing the wi-li button on each pumps controller there indicator lights up blue, then you just press the mode button on the master controller and all the controllers will change, the wire less part is controller to controller, I have mine running in "c" mode which runs the one then the other and so forth else mode in my tank sometimes turns up a sand storm...

For some reason I couldn't find this thread last night - I'll take this pic for you tonight. Maybe even a "how-to, from scratch" video if you ask nice

Thanks...

Do you know if there is any benefit to running else mode in wireless connected?

Or would it be the same if all pumps were running else modes be themselves?
