Am I Crazy?!?! Really excited about these cheap Chinese LEDs for our Frag Tank!

Well I don't know what's wrong with me...

... but I'm really excited about trying out this cheap Chinese LED fixture on our frag tank.

Bought a Current USA Orbit Marine fixture for one side and was going to get their pro version for the other side (for sps).

Wanted to try the normal version first, and see if at 16" (10-12" with water height/racks/etc...) if they would grow SPS.

After my wife commented the fixture looked kind of weak, I decided to order the pro version.

Before I ordered the pro version I decided to see if there was a long and slim cheap Chinese LED for sale.

Found this one to my surprise:
36" 3 watt LEDs with 60 degree lens.
Adjustable from 2-100%.
Remote control.
18pcs Cool White(10000-12000K), 3pcs Green(525nm), 12pcs Blue(460nm), 3pcs Red(630nm).
48-60"
$100

The negatives are no timer and would rather have 90 degree lens. Also I don't think you can really adjust the spectrum, just full brightness.

Anyway... not sure why, but even the new Reef Octopus Regal 300SSS I ordered last week really didn't excite me.

Of course for the display I'll continue running Kessil A360WEs for full control, quality, etc... but for the frag tank and $100, why not give it a shot!

yeah I was just checking that out a day or so ago for a 20L macro tank.
also was considering the marine orbit too.

humm 18 CW to12 RB so what its a 14 to 15K??
