Help, my mushroom corals are shriveling up.

Over the past few weeks all of the blue mushrooms in my Evolve 8 have shriveled up and not opened at all. The water conditions are all great and there is nothing touching them. In other forums I've seen that too much light can be an issue, do you think the wavepoint 16w light might be too much in this tank?

the light only matters depending on what kind of light it is (I've never heard of a wavepoint), the distance between the light and the coral, etc.

There are a LOT of reasons for a coral to close up. mine frequently do before or while they're splitting.

To much light/flow, and sometime if the tank is to clean can cause them to shrink.
That's why I wanted to see your parameters.

Sorry I don't keep a log of peramiters. It's possible it's the flow, I am running 300 gallons per hour and in the tank but the mushrooms are in the area where the flow isn't strong. Wavepoint is a marine led light for nano tanks. I've had many mushrooms split before but never seen them shrivel up and like this, and for them all to be doing it at once seems strange to me. Is there a parasite that may affect them? I did have a problem with a zoa frag A while back that had a parasite killing the polyps. This tank has had a strong population of spaghetti worms since I started it as well.

on in your tank.

Nitrate
Calcium
Alkalinity
Specific Gravity
Temperature (F)
pH
Magnesium

The peramiters are good typically though, not perfect being that it's a small tank.i will get that to you tonight.
