ICH, ICH, ICH, need some helpful tips
ICH ICH ICH, i am having an outbreak.
so i was in to reefing years ago with a much larger scale 180gallon reef tank. but this whole nano tank deal is kinda a new thing. just got a 29gallon bio cube for my son and i to enjoy while i polished up on my reefing skills to set back up my 180 again in a few months. so tank has been set up for about a month and everything was going great. we live in florida and i always did fresh ocean water changes in my big tank. so naturally i am doing them in my little tank. we introduced a few fish and a few inverts in the tank. they have now been in the tank about 2 weeks and noticed my fish starting to show signs of ICH. so i set up my old hospital tank that i had for my 180. dosed it with copper safe and introduced my fish into there new temp home. question #1. how long is this cycle for ich take to treat until the fish can be introduced. question #2 how do i introduce them back into the tank with out introducing copper in the reef tank. question #3 how do i prevent getting ich again because it SUCKS!!!!!!! anyone with helpful tips please let me know thanks. The link may be of use to you. The main way to prevent ich in the future is to QT your fish before going into the DT
