It was the glass that made it look like a spot

Alright. Got another issue.

The 2 clown I have in the container that suffered from the 10 gallon tank aren't eating. Already tried mysis shrimp, flake and pellets. All they want to do is try and get out.

Is it safe to let them out? Included is a video of what keeps happening

They are currently in my 65 corner tank at the moment

Can you pick up some sort of tank divider so you can give them some more space?

Even a DIY of eggcrate from Home Depot and some sort of screen.

Currently don't have anything that will reach from one end to another, any other choice I have?

Can you stop at the hardware store and pick up eggcrate tomorrow? It's 4 foot by 2 feet. You can cut it to size and even double it up so no one sneaks through. You just need to carve out a spot somewhere in your tank. It can be 10 gallons 15 etc. Bc it's a corner you need to be creative. Goal is to keep 2 clownfish on either side of the barrier.

I mention the screen because I once did this to catch a tang and it tried to swim through and got stuck in the eggcrate hole (ended up being ok)

They also sell tank dividers but I highly doubt your lfs has them in stock. GL

Can you post me a picture of what they look like? I'm still somewhat new to this hobby and learning as I go

And what type of screen would be good? Possibly material wise

Sorry for the trouble

Something like this to allow water to get through. Not sure how big your fish are and if they will try to swim through. My tang was scared and was trying to get away. If you cut two pieces and put them back to back so the holes criss cross then they won't be big enough to swim through. You'll need something to cut it with as well. Some sort of pliers or something.

Sorry I think I posted the actual panel not the eggcrate.

http://m.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-2...-202653781-_-N

They are $12-$15 each per panel. If you go into Home Depot/ lowes and ask for eggcrate for lighting they should be able to direct you in the right spot.

Great. It should only take one piece but I would cut two pieces to build your area. That way you don't have to be perfect with the width and can create a double barrier. IE if your tank is 18" front to back cut them 17" wide and high enough to reach the top. Put one all the way in front and one all the way to the back. You could always cable tie them together so they stay in place. But you should be able to do something to keep them in place.

They will have more room than that tiny little box and hopefully they eat. Maybe get PVC as well to give them a hiding spot.

GL
