AI Hydra 26's distance from water???

I recently bought 2 AI Hydra 26 lights for my 65 gallon. With them i purchased the tank mount rail system. I love the look of everything but i feel the lights are too close to the water. The mounting rails suspend the lights about 6 inches above the surface. I have a glass cover on so i am not worried about the eval getting to them. I am more worried about the lights being too much for the coral.
Thank you in advance for any input.

Meh...I wouldn't worry about it being too much light. I had two Hydra 52's over my 65g on the same rail...

Ok, I am still playing with the settings through the director. Trying out some recommendations from fellow reefers. Time will tell.
Thank You for your input!
