Algae ID please
What is this d*** stuff. It has come once before - January - and I thought I had it beat, but not before I lost virtually everything in my tank.
How can I rid the tank of it. Algae Fix didn't work, high mag no go, lights out, nope, Sea Hares (2) refused to eat it - same with Lettuce nudi, 15+ Turbos, Hermits, Tuxedo Urchins and more I believe. Params are PO4 0 NO3 1 CA 142 ALk 8.6 Using GFO and a turf scrubber. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CiatlMfjoM

I had a Yellow Tang with the last outbreak of this and he along with everything else would not touch it.
I have a Kole Tang, Caribbean Tang, and a Two Barred Rabbitfish now, and none of them go any where near this stuff. Also 3 Tuxedo Urchins that apparently can't stand the stuff. It ani't your standard run of the mill GHA, at least I don't think so.

I just had a bout of HA because I got lax on maintenance, but I got it controlled in a few weeks. Pulled out what I could, ran GFO and got some Mexican turbo snails.
