No I don't think it is exactly the same as aptasia, however,in my aquarium,I treat them the same because they are close enough looking.

Yup leaning toward majano ...looks so cool ...Googled it and it begins by saying "how to remove and kill" also plagues and stuff I guess not worth the risk..can it be secluded from rockswork so it won't spread..thought I got hooked up by my lfs too

+1 on the majano
My peppermint shrimps pretty much too care of my aiptasia problem but they won't touch the majanos. I think because the ones I have are bigger, but they remain in the same spot day after day and aren't multiplying so I've just left em alone.

Lol, as you have it in a bag by itself. I would toss it... Kind of messed up the clerk just gave it to you as if he was hooking you up.
You could always throw it in the QT if you have one and just monitor it just to make sure it is Majano. |

Does majano start out lookin like blackmold..the mushroom I purchased had some that seemed to irritate it a bit..felt slimy when I tried stabbing it and wouldn't dissolve..so decided not too chance it do super glued the sucker..hope it kills it + it irritated the crap out of the mushroom spitting out its guts..really hope it doesn't melt....what you guys think
