Feeding frequency help

For fish I have two juvenile clowns, juvenile six line wrasse, and a juvenile purple firefish.
I have two peppermint shrimp, one skunk cleaner shrimp, one juvenile emerald crab, one juvenile porcelain crab, and various snails and a few hermits for CUC.
I feed san francisco bay "multi pack" usually the brine/emerald entree/marine cuisine and also same brand spirulina brine, and I usually mix at least two of these together. I have some mysis but no one tends to eat it (and yes I find that strange). Also have some NLS pellets.

I'm curious how often *you* think I should be feeding?

I know everyone will have a different opinion on this and that's good, I want to compare the different answers and reasonings, and also compare them to how I feed to determine if I should make some changes.

I would start with once or twice per day. Only give enough at a feeding that they will consume in about 10 minutes. The leftover bits should be taken care of by the hermits.

If you see your phosphate/nitrate going up and algae along with it, you will need to back off the amount.

If your not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

I feed a little bit 4 times a day, but my fish don't really compete for the food. If they did I would feed more food less often to make sure everyone got a chance to eat. If I pay attention I can tell by how they act when they've had enough too, like the first feeding in the morning I give more cause everyone's hungry and swimming around all feisty-like, but if they aren't really into the 2nd meal I might skip the 3rd. I think the last one at night is mostly for coral and CUC.
Mostly just go slow and keep an eye on your numbers like Sheila said, but also watch the fish. If they aren't hungry then you've fed enough
