Algae???
Hello I'm new to this hobby and I started my first reef about 1 month ago and my tank has cycled but these brown spots are appearing in the live sand bed. Is this bad? What can I do to get rid of it? And most importantly what is it? please need help

Typical.
Baby poo brown could be diatoms, reddish brown could be cyano. Neither is a big deal in a new tank. Your tank will eventually be many shades of living things. If it gets much worse, then it might be time to consider a fix. You DID start your tank with ro/di water? not tapwater? If otherwise, it's curable, but it can cause a little bloom or two.

To Reef Central most likely they are diatoms, normal in a new tank, you will get diff types of algae for the first few months. best thing to do is use rodi water for your top off and to mix your salt into for water changes. keep your nitrates and phosphates as low as possible. in time with good tank maintenance they will go away on their own.
