kh vs gh
what's the difference from kh and gh? i understand alkalinity and it's requirements but what's general hardness and its relation to a reef aquarium? are they directly correlated for example if dkh is 7 would gh then be 7 as well or if one of them goes up or down will the other do the same? gh isn't just some form of magnesium measurement is it? thanks.

gh is pointless in a SW aquarium, so you can forget it
