What is going on??
So the past two days I've noticed everything in my sump turning white. A white coating that I can pull off with my finger nail. Then today my filter socks, pump foam filter and my GFO are solid as a brick. I checked all my levels... Alk 10.5 Mg 1400 Cal dropped to 290... 4 days ago it was at 410... I use REd Sea test kits
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I dose Cal, Alk and Mg using a bubble Magnus. I had it pretty much dialed in too. Cal and Alk were dosing every hr seperated 15 min apart and Mg was being dosed every 6 hrs... Also I've been using the BRS supplements. To keep Alk in check its been dosing a gallon every 10 days.... Same with Cal... I find that crazy high.... I have about 20 soft corals and 4 frags of LPS and 2 lps about softball size??? Please help, I don't think my coral are liking this at all

Your calcium is precipitating out because you are dosing cal and alk too close together. You should do one in the morning and one at night.
