How can I hook up a 1/4" line to a maxijet pump?

What are you trying to accomplish? A maxi jet won't push much through a ¼" lime

Do you want the 1/4" line on the input or output side of the pump? And why?

Get a hose that will fit over the maxi jet out put. Then slide your 1/4 into that hose about 1/2", put some silicon around the 1/4 hose and push the 1/4 hose in another inch.

5/8" tubing coupling fits just right on the larger sizes MJ outlet. It is what I use for my water change set up. 1/4" is to small.

I'm going to do do this on a RIO pump to feed my CA Reactor.
I'm going to thread the output with a tap and screw in a John Guest fitting.
