QT question

So I currently have my first additions (1 fox face and 2 clowns) in QT. I didn't QT first, they got ICH. So they went it in a QT. It's been about a month, going to wait another 4 weeks till I move them back. I would like more fish, I'm going straight to QT with them after I move the first set back to the display.
What do I have to do to the QT before I add more fish ? Can I move the current fish to the display in the morning and later that day get more and go straight to the QT?

What did you treat the fish with to get rid of the ich?

It is recommended to let your DT go fallow(fishless) for 72 days before introducing fish back into the DT.

I would suggest draining and cleaning the QT tank, let it sit dry for 48 hours before filling and QT any other fish if using an uncycled QT. Otherwise cycle the QT then add the fish.

I would look into doing the TTM, tank transfer method, on any new fish for ich treatment.

FWIW my QT protocol is TTM, 2 weeks, followed by 4-5 weeks in my main QT for observation. At some point during the QT I will do 2 rounds of prazipro for flukes and internal parasites. Good luck.

Thanks

I used a copper based med. Don't remember the name off the top of my head. Fish look good now, no signs of ICH for a while.
I was planning on waiting the 72 days. Puts me right around the first weekend in December.

Sounds like a good idea. I'll clean it and start over for the new fish.
