Diffusing Kessil LED on Nano or Add T5?

So I have a 20g Tall nano tank and I have a Kessil A360WE ~7in above the tank. I have done SPS in this tank before, but the bottoms/shaded areas always die off due to the point-source nature of the light.

I want to get back into SPS but want my colonies to grow out so I was thinking of supplementing with a T5, but room on top of the tank is sparse. So I thought about trying to diffuse the light, and I found a site (from a thread here on RC) that sells diffuser paper to put over the light.

Does anyone have any experience diffusing the kessil, or does anyone know of any single bulb t5 lights that sit on a fish tank? Or any other suggestions would be great...Thanks!

I can't believe I'm going to say this but.... I would go with t5 for that tank. I love my hydra and razor led but have started supplementing them with t5 because of the issue you mentioned.

I don't know of a single t5 light fixture. I know there are retro kits you could maybe make something with.

The only downside with the t5's besides replacing the bulbs is the loss of shimmer affect.

I love the shimmer effect, that's why I was hoping I could diffuse it or supplement it, but it has crossed my mind to just change over to T5s.

i bought two single t5 fixtures from amazon,24" fixtures, for around $35 a piece, they are used for plant growing, they are decent, they come with reflectors and clips for hanging and u can twin them together with a cord that is included, i bought these for my 55 that I have two 360`s on, I already had some bulbs from my old tank so I decided to see if they would help out.
