Attaching mushrooms HELP!

I have been buying some mushrooms lately. They are cheep and add great color! But I have had some bad luck with getting them attached. I have had some attach and are growing beautifully! But some shrivel up and melt. What is the best way to attach them to a little piece of rubble I have. Thanks everybody!

i have just set the mushroom on a rock and wrap in the netting from an old dip net. Takes about a week to grab a hold itself. Take the netting off and your good to go.

The netting idea is way better than my "place and pray" strategy, which is essentially the pullout method of attaching corals.
