Uneven water level on Display tank

My problem is that my stand is slightly uneven. Im not sure by how much

I have a Bean Animal internal overflow box and only one side does the "overflow" job and the other side has a dead spot. SMH.

I know which side to shim, but I'm not sure by how much.

Can anyone show me how I can measure how much to shim?

Thanks!

I never measure i just start placeing shims under the stand till the tank is level. And i highly doubt your overflow caused any of the un level.

What shifty said. I don't bother with a level - your tank is already a perfect level. Just measure from the top of the stand to the water level at all 4 corners. Add shims until all 4 measure the same. It helps to drain most of the water out, especially in larger tanks.
