I'm no expert but what are your water parameters? that will help figure out what is causing the algae bloom. Nitrates, Posphate, etc..

I'd say it's more than likely that the cause is nutrients instead of the light. The coral will close up if you have them set too high, i don't know enough about the fixture to give you an answer on what they should be on, do you have the specs?

These are Chinese leds. And $64 a fixture is a darn good price. Three years ago they would have cost you close to $200 each! They look OK to me. A number of companies have been selling the same fixture for 3 or 4 years now. I still use a couple over my refugiums. I've moved on to leds from China with built-in controllers rather than manual dimmers.

If your tank is 24" deep, something in the 30-50% white and 70-90% blue. Six hours a day is enough (minimum). More isn't needed, but it's not harmful either (until you get up to about 12 hours).

I will put money that your nitrates and/or phosphate levels are to high. Lower those and you lower the algae

Um, I believe some of your problems are caused by the amount of rock you have in that tank. I've never see rock stacked brick and mortar style like that. So, flow would be one issue. Also if that rock is live, nitrates and phosphates leaching out of them will be an issue. Three, did you say the tank was a month old? Slow down my man. Nothing happens here quickly. Good luck with everything

After looking at your pics again i would remove some rock and open it up more so flow can go through the rock alot more.

I like to have at least 2 powerheads in the tank, one at each side and around 30x turnover with the powerheads.

Please give actual readings. Saying 'it's fine' doesn't help.
